Congratulations To Our Members of the Year 2017!

Each year our local association recognizes a Builder/Remodeler and Associate Member of the Year for their outstanding contribution to the growth of our Association.

Our first recipient is Christine Lamontagne of Lamontagne Builders, Inc! Lamontagne Builders has been recognized as our Builder Member of the Year for the countless years they have committed to our Association. As a Third Generation Building Firm, Christine & Karen Lamontagne daughters of Bob & Sandy Lamontagne have taken over the day to day operations and have committed their time to the betterment of the Association and “move housing forward”.

Next, please congratulate our Associate Member of the Year Julie Blake from Norfolk Kitchen and Baths of Nashua! Julie has been a very active member of our local Association for five + years volunteering her time on our Golf Committee, Comedy Show, Annual Silent Auction and has been very active on the NH State Home Show Committee.

Chick has been a 20+ year member, has served as local President, Chairman of the Golf Tournament and Membership Campaign Chair. Latest News From Our Governmental Affairs Committee…

WILDLIFE CORRIDORS
SB 376 relative to wildlife corridors will be heard by the state Senate Environment & Natural Resources Committee next Wednesday February 3rd at 9:30 am in room 100 of the State House. This bill gives recognition to the importance of habitat connectivity and asks the Executive Director of the department to make findings and file a report by the summer of 2018. That report will recommend new rules and possible legislation to give better protections to existing corridors. Read more by clicking here
